Depressed and frustrated with his life, Dr. John Kitchin abandons his career as a neurologist and moves to the beach. There, he undergoes a radical transformation into SLOMO, trading his lab coat for a pair of rollerblades and his IRA for a taste of divinity.

Dr. John Kitchin quit a medical career to pursue his passion: skating along the boardwalk of San Diego’s Pacific Beach. He calls himself “Slo-mo.”

Kudos to SLOMO for courageously living his life and “doing what he loves”!

This short film is one of my favorites and encapsulates what Conscious Good is all about! The main character of the story is a man who has given up what many call a ‘successful’ career to find his personal joy. Some might call him crazy. Some might say he is a sage. To me, he inspires us to live the life we want to lead and have the courage to do so!

  • Chase your passion and meaning will follow.
