Conscious Good is a media brand that inspires Millennials and the young at heart to be the highest version of themselves.

We promote conscious media, celebrate change-makers, and produce content that combines ancient wisdom with modern culture to inspire, entertain, and empower the Conscious Generation.

Media of all forms plays a critical role in influencing our conscious. Much of today’s mainstream media is fear-driven, contributing to a down-spiral in mental, physical, and spiritual health—we want to counteract this. We believe in the capacity of the human spirit for positive change, and believe that positive, inspiring media will lead to a healthier, happier you, and a healthier, happier world.

OUR TOPICS

At Conscious Good, we are constantly on the look out for the best short films, series, documentaries, courses and practices on topics ranging from Ayurveda to volunteering. And, we bring it all together in a pretty lovely (if we do say so ourselves) environment online that you can visit anytime of the day or night. No fancy yoga pants; no problem. Pajamas are good when you’re at home. No time for a trip to Greece? That’s okay! Learn about the benefits of a Mediterranean diet at your desk. What inspires you? Who makes your heart sing? At Conscious Good, we envision a world where all individuals have the chance to experience mental, physical and emotional well-being.

We are pretty hard core about our values. Here are our top five:

Open-mindedness
We welcome new ideas and new ways of doing things and, in fact, close minded-ness is a non-starter. We recognize that all belief systems are valid. Curiosity is a goal, not a distraction.

Authenticity
We are who we say we are. We want to get to know more about ourselves and others. We don’t have time for superficiality.

Quality
Time is precious, and we will sift through the options (so you don’t have to) and highlight the best of the best.

Generosity
We are committed to nurturing ourselves and our communities in equal measure by giving back 10% of our profits.

Hopefulness
Love not fear is our motivating force. We celebrate positive, helpful attitudes and optimistic spirits.

THE TEAM

trina
Trina Wyatt, Founder & CEO

Trina has been a leading force in entertainment and media for the past 20 years including conceiving of and launching the Tribeca Film Festival in 2002. She most recently developed and launched GAIAMTV’s (Gaia) content strategy and content departments. Previously, at Film Independent, she led the restructure and rebranding from IFP West to Film Independent, helped grow the Los Angeles Film Festival and negotiated a multi-year broadcast deal for the Independent Spirit Awards with IFP. Trina was a key figure behind significant media transactions including Prana Studios’ acquisition of Rhythm and Hues, Intrepid Pictures’ $75M credit facility lead by JP Morgan Chase, and the successful sale of Withoutabox to IMDb. Trina received her MBA from NYU Stern and is an avid yoga practitioner, having completed her 200-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angeles.

Ivan is a marketing executive innovating at the intersection of tech and culture over the past 10+ years, helping launch and grow technology and media startups. His hands-on experience leading tech-product, cross-platform marketing, content vision, and brand strategy grew engaged audiences for pioneers in the digital video space including King of the Web, Creator Republic, and most recently, mitú.

Elissa Greer, Festival Director

Elissa is an entertainment marketing executive with a proven track record of building visibility and equity for creative brands, projects, franchises and the organizations behind them, including New Line Cinema, FilmDistrict, Focus Features and Blumhouse Tilt.

She is an industry leader who develops the meticulous architecture to identify strategic goals and provide the navigation for campaigns with innovative ideas, practical solutions and personalized insight. She develops programs through media, PR and targeted engagement, original content and social outreach, that invest the consumer with actionable and quantifiable results.

She works with several non-profits and is a dedicated yogi, who has recently completed a 200 hour teacher training. Elissa is committed to using media and storytelling to enrich our lives and community.

Cali Alpert, Originals

Cali Alpert is an Emmy award-winning TV producer, media consultant and radio interviewer. She has worked in roles ranging from Supervising Producer on “The Dr Oz Show,” to Senior Field Producer on shows including “The Meredith Vieira Show,” “Dr. Phil,” and “Donny Deutsch.” She served as Documentary Producer for VH1, MSNBC and Discovery Channel; contributed interviews to Hay House Radio and created podcasts for Gaiam. Her exchanges with thousands of celebrities, spiritual luminaries and strangers alike have earned her a reputation as a seasoned storyteller and interviewer. Cali is also currently the co-host and producer of her own personal growth podcast, “The Rob and Cali Show,” and is devoted to her daily practice of prayer and meditation.

Mike Dunn, Finance

Mike has over 20 years of experience managing finance, accounting and operations in multiple organizations both public and private. He has been the CFO of a public mobile media company and has run finance and operations in numerous startups. His experience spans multiple industries including VFX and animation, consumer products, mobile applications and software. Most recently Mike was COO and SVP of Finance for Prana/Rhythm and Hues. Mike is a licensed CPA.

Lorraine was VP Programming & Acquisition, LINKTV; Co-Producer, Global Spirit; Co-Producer, Ethics for the New Millennium; Series Producer/Writer, Ligthbridge/PBS; Consultant, Teaching Channel; and Head of Programming, IVN Entertainment. Lorraine has a lifelong passion for personal fitness and self-development practices such as shamanism, intuitive healing and depth hypnosis with a particular emphasis on how they intersect with media.

Luke Reppe
Luke Repp, Acquisitions Assistant

Luke has developed media for a mindfulness startup app and managed documentary content. A budding yoga and meditation practitioner, he also lives in an intentional community in San Francisco. He hopes to use media to raise awareness and empower change.

Mark is a quota-driven marketing and sales executive with more than 25 years of experience across a range of technology, financial service and consumer brands. Most recently, he served as VP of Business Development for one of the nation’s top ranked franchise companies. Prior to that, Mark was the Global Head of Product Marketing for Commercial Solutions at Visa, Inc. He has worked on both client- and agency-side business at firms such as Adobe Systems, Ketchum (Omnicom) and Golin (IPG) and at start-ups such as Nimblefish Technologies (acq’d by R.R. Donnelley) and Ventro Inc. (KPCB-backed).

Ann Boyd, Advisor

Ann has worked for some of the world’s most recognizable entertainment, media and technology brands leading reputation, culture and community-building efforts. She most recently oversaw communications and events for impact entertainment outfit Participant Media. Prior to that, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Fox Interactive Media and AOL where she helped launch and showcase many digital entertainment “firsts” – including online radio, digital music subscription, and the rise of social networking. Ann is a passionate supporter of arts and culture and yoga practitioner and teacher. She is a Board of Directors for the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and recently completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with YogaWorks and Unnata® Aerial Yoga Certification in Boulder, CO.

Peter Rader is an author, producer and creative director of CounterPoint Films, which is home to AWAKE: The Life of Yogananda. As a writer, Radar’s first script, Waterworld, was produced by Universal. Rader wrote Mike Wallace: A Life and adapted the biography into a script for Rob Reiner. His is currently writing his second book for Simon & Schuster.
